Every Sunday here — we do the same. Italian Feast changes every Sunday, while we also offer our regular menu. Come celebrate with us a taste of Italy with family and friends.
Specialty Drinks & Wine/Beer List
Come unwind with friends and family at Sweet Aroma ristorante's full sit down bar. We have an extensive wine list, primarily from Italy and also offer special pairings with our dishes. Try our signature cocktail, and our own invention — The Sicilian Kiss.
Our chef refers to himself as an Italian Cook and, unlike most, has no big degrees, did not go to the best culinary schools in Italy, did not study under a world-renowned Chef, his teaching and learning came from a woman who taught him the skill of "a pinch of that, a hand full of this" heart and soul for the passion of cooking" — his Mother. "Don't wait for the water to boil, it will tell you when it wants the pasta," "Don't time everything— the smell of the meatballs will say ready" and "Some things just cannot be taught— only enjoyed...Salute."
Gianni (who was born in Cosenza, Italy) journeyed to America to settle in Little Italy of Chicago and, like most, learned to adjust. He never forgot his roots and makes sure to enjoy and carry on the best traditional Italian food served in the region of Calabria as Chief of Operations. He works diligently to assure each and every guests feels welcome and satisfied, trains the staff to carry on the close Family atmosphere, and makes sure that History is made from the inside of SweetAroma.
